The star of Jacob, shining bright, does fill the night,
with beams of light that show the way,
and greet the Savior, born today.
The wise men who came from afar,
are Magi, following the star.
The shepherds too have come this way,
to praise the newborn King today.
The advent of our Lord is here,
and Jesus is born again each year.
The Gladsome light of Jesus gleams,
and Christmas stories fill our dreams.
